Policy: 1) Privacy of Client Information *Wherethouartbeauty collects only information necessary to deliver services and ensure safety (e.g., health history, contact details, treatment notes). Information is stored securely and used solely for service delivery, billing, and regulatory compliance. *We will not share your personal health information with third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law or to protect your safety. *Clients may request access to their records or corrections in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Data handling complies with applicable state and federal privacy regulations. 2) Acknowledgment of Policies *All policies are provided for awareness, understanding, and care. By engaging my services or purchasing products, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these policies, including updates. *You are not required to sign a separate document to be bound by these policies, but you acknowledge responsibility to read and understand them. If you have questions, please ask with a gracious heart. 3) Privacy, Acknowledgment, and Waivers Addendum *Consent to Liability Waiver: By booking and receiving services from Wherethouartbeauty, you consent to the waiver of liability forms provided at or before the time of booking or service. These waivers outline potential risks, contraindications, and adverse reactions associated with skincare services and products. *Acknowledgment of Waivers: You acknowledge that you have reviewed the waiver(s), understand the risks described, and voluntarily accept these risks in exchange for the opportunity to receive services. *Liability Protection: You understand that the waiver does not waive rights protected by law, and any claims arising from gross negligence or intentional harm are not barred by this waiver. *Health Updates: You agree to promptly disclose any new health information or changes in health status that could affect treatment risk. 4) Health History and Disclosure *It is the client’s responsibility to disclose accurate and complete health information, including but not limited to: *Known illnesses, current illnesses, viruses, diseases, or infectious conditions. *Surgeries (medical or non-medical, e.g., Botox or other injections) within the past 12 months and ongoing post-procedure status. *Medications (prescription, over-the-counter, and herbal supplements) that may affect skin sensitivity or contraindicate certain treatments. *Allergies, irritants, or sensitivities (including skincare ingredients and fragrance components). *Any skin conditions, inflammations, lesions, abrasions, or compromised skin integrity in the treatment area. * I, (Stephanie Scales, Wherethouartbeauty) The esthetician reserves the right to decline treatment if the client’s health status presents a risk or if there is a potential contraindication. 5) Contraindications, Irritation, Inflammation, Sensitivity, and Allergies Skin Treatments may have potential contraindications or may cause irritation, inflammation, sensitivity, or allergic reactions. The client acknowledges and understands that: *Individual skin responses vary; irritation or temporary redness can occur after certain procedures. *Some products or procedures may not be suitable for all skin types or conditions. *It is the client’s responsibility to inform the esthetician about any reactions or concerns during or after treatment. *I will assess suitability and discuss alternatives if contraindications are present, seeking to honor wellbeing. 6) Hygiene and Sanitation *All services are performed under conditions consistent with professional licensure and industry hygiene standards. *The client acknowledges that clean skin and appropriate dress/coverings are required for service delivery. *I reserve the right to refuse service if there is evidence of unsanitary conditions (e.g., soiled skin/clothes, extensive contamination, or any condition that would compromise safety or hygiene). *The client agrees to cooperate with hygiene practices and post-care instructions. Refusals or non-compliance may result in interruption or cancellation of services. 8) Right to Refuse Service (California Solo Practitioner) *As the sole esthetician and owner, I reserve the right to refuse service to any individual for any legal and non-discriminatory reason, including but not limited to: *Non-compliance with policies, hygiene concerns, or harassment of me or other clients. *Inability to safely perform the service due to health, safety, or behavioral concerns *Violations of appointment terms, including repeated no-shows or cancellations. *Refusal of service will be conducted with grace, professionalism, and, when appropriate, offering alternatives or referrals. 9) Cancellation, No-Show, and Same-Day Fees A standard cancellation fee of $50 or 20% whichever is greater applies for cancellations, no-shows, or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours' notice or as otherwise posted at the time of booking. *Fees may be collected at the time of rescheduling or through future invoices as permitted by policy and local regulations. *Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in suspension of appointment booking privileges, at the sole discretion of the esthetician. 10) Minors (Under 18) Policy No services or products may be administered to individuals under 18 without a parent or legal guardian present. *A parent or legal guardian must provide consent and be physically present during all services for clients under 18. *If a parent/guardian cannot be present, services will not commence, and alternatives (e.g., postponement) may be offered at the sole discretion of the esthetician and owner. 11) Informed Consent and Acknowledgment Acknowledgment of understanding: The client acknowledges they have read and understood the services offered, potential contraindications, aftercare, and any risks associated with treatments. *Consent is considered informed when the client has had an opportunity to ask questions and obtain clear answers from me, the sole esthetician. 12) Documentation and Records *I maintain client records securely, including consent forms, health disclosures, and treatment notes, in compliance with applicable privacy laws. Clients may request access to their records or corrections as permitted by law. CANCELLATION POLICY

At Wherethouartbeauty, I strive to provide exceptional, personalized care in a luxe, spa-like environment. To keep the schedule flowing smoothly for all clients and to honor the time and preparation that goes into each appointment, please note the following cancellation policy. *No-Show and Same-Day Cancellation Fee: A $50 fee or 20% cancellation fee whichever is greater applies to any no-show, or cancellations/reschedules made with less than 24 hours’ notice. *24-Hour Notice Requirement: To avoid the fee, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice prior to your scheduled appointment. *How Fees are Collected: Fees may be collected at the time of rescheduling or through future invoices as permitted by policy and local regulations. *Repeated Violations: Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in suspension of appointment booking privileges, at my sole discretion. *Exceptions: Fees may be waived or reduced at my sole discretion in cases of emergency or extraordinary circumstances, at the time of scheduling or rescheduling.
